Very interesting to read the motivations of his actions and to what lengths he goes for that. Just take a pause and look at the gorgeous cover of Iason. The Sci-fi world created in this series is becoming more detailed with each volume. Okay, the review. In this fourth book of the series, besides Riki and Iason, also Kyrie gets a fair share of attention. By accident I stumbeled across the OVA and I am glad I did. Otherwise I would never have read this series (being a novel and no manga) and that would have been a loss.
I think there are and they are quite beautiful and haunting. This series is magnificent. It was a love story about a "mongrel"named Riki who had the misfortune to cross paths with a mancalled Jason, an elite race of Blondies, perfected human beings. I had read previously thatthere weren't enough illustrations. One cautionthough,it is mature reading. Jason would come to love the proud Riki through torture andforced encounters that would not break Riki despite appearances.Much would come between them to tear them apart including threats to Jason that he would be reprogramed if he kept suchan inferior pet as Riki.
Itdoes not hold back in its frank sexuality and powerful lovethat Jason has come to feel for Riki. Early in the 90's an anime appearedin Japan that would rock. The most recent volume "Suggestion" continues the storyof Riki, freed fron his confinement for a year, by Jason. Recently a new manga translation was made available towe eager American readers. It is very good with illustrationsthat are just right for the series. Excellent.
Highly recommended.
This is an absolutely great read. It definitely brings to light the happenings during the three years Rikki was separated from Bison. It's a whole new twist on an already wonderful story.
